The History of Philosophy Forum is happy to sponsor a book launch event to celebrate the publication of Prof. Hussein Ali Abdulsater's new monograph, Al-Jāḥiẓ and Religious Knowledge: A Forgotten Islamic Rationalism, in the series, Edinburgh Studies in Islamic Scripture and Theology. Join us for a panel discussion with Prof. Abdulsater, Prof. Stephen Ogden (Philosophy, Notre Dame), and Prof. Sean Anthony (History, The Ohio State University), followed by a reception in the Atrium of Jenkins Hall.
Registered attendees will be entered into a raffle for the chance to win one of three copies of Prof. Abdulsater's new book.
