Arabic Calligraphy Workshop a Success
On April 30th, the Arabic department extended a warm welcome to Dr. Mahmoud Youness, an expert in Arabic calligraphy. He led a practicum wherein students had the opportunity to both learn about and practice this traditional art form. Under his patient tutelage, students wielded traditional reeds to write their names. Pizza and conviviality were enjoyed by all in attendance.
