Research
The program in Arabic and Middle Eastern and North African Studies seeks to engage scholars and teachers working on the cultures of the Middle East and North Africa from various intellectual perspectives. Notre Dame is home to many faculty researching the region from a variety of disciplines and their work continues to add valuable contributions to their fields of specialty and beyond.
To support collaborative research, there are several working groups focused on topics around Middle Eastern and North African studies. Current working groups include:
- ND Islamic Studies Colloquium
- Religion and Pluralism in the Medieval Mediterranean
