Join us this Sunday, May 9th, at 12 pm on Bond Quad, for Arabic Club's Palestinian Bracelet Weaving Project. This charity project seeks to benefit one of our members, Gabriela Betanzos. Experience is not required, the bracelets are easy to make--each takes less than 15 minutes to complete. This is a great way to earn community service hours, meet other club members, immerse yourself in Arab culture, and most of all, help struggling Palestinians!
100% of proceeds from the bracelets sold will be used to buy food parcels in Palestine for people in different camps (a video will be uploaded to YouTube as well where you can watch where your efforts went). We will meet at 12 pm this Sunday, May 9th, at our usual spot on Bond Quad! This will enable us to buy more food parcels for Palestinians who are in dire need.
